White Walls meet Vibrant colors
It’s easy to see the appeal in white walls, they feel open and refreshing as a surrounding. That’s why its even more refreshing to see new modernized takes on this look. In the wall mural below, delicate leafy foliage is scattered daintily across the wall, as the illusion of vines slowly work their way up the walls. For those into the extra nature-centric looks, this pattern is a pleaser.
Grandiose and Large
Take everything endearing about a bouquet of assorted wild flowers, blow it up the size of your wall: this is floral murals Sandberg style. This type of style isn’t for everybody, but we can’t ignore how stylish this display of rose tones against dusky charcoal resonates. Sometimes one might crave some change or a feeling of freshness in their home, business, or any type of space. This piece is going to go over a couple quick ideas you could consider to implement your style or just something different or original. Specifically projects that don’t require a lot of fabric will be the focus.
Projects that require small amounts of fabric:
Pillows or Cushions
Ottomans or Stools
Pillows and Cushions
Creating custom cushions is an effective and easy way to spice up a space for lounging or relaxation. We love this execution of bright and lively neon and mixed jewel tones. In this particular shot they paired the cushion with matching sofa upholstery fabric, but you can add splashes of color like this to any complimenting or neutral colors to add a dynamic moment.
A trend that’s been popping up more and more lately is the use of roman shades. This is a great way to add patterns and colors you like to places like the kitchen or restroom. Pictured above, Schumacher’s ‘Campagne’ fabric. You can use a fabric from your favored brand in any color or style.
Ottomans and Stools
Why are coffee tables disappearing? It’s because ottomans are making a huge comeback, especially done up in custom fabric. Seen in the above shot, this lustrous velour ‘The Wave’ fabric from Schumacher coordinates the golden brown tones of the roman shade in the back into the center of the living room for earthy harmony.
Contrast Chair Backing
Such a small area, that has quite the impact on one of the most important spaces in your house: the dining room. Contrasting chair back fabric has been around for ages, we’re seeing it make a come back as people utilize complimenting fabrics to unify their designs or add extra flare.

Our story begins in 1987 when founder and designer Frank Keshishian launched L.A. Design Concepts a residential interior design firm.
While Mr. Keshishian designed homes for his clients, he recognized a fast growing market of consumers who preferred to make their own design decisions. Understanding that desire, Frank created the first design service offering consumer access to designer "trade only" furnishings.
In 1988, L.A. Design Concepts was nationally recognized as a groundbreaking company revolutionizing consumer access. The Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles was very intrigued with L. A. Design Concepts working model and approached Frank in 1990 to formulate a consumer service program within their design center. L.A. Design Concepts was now the first service within a design center providing consumer access to “trade only? furnishings. Shortly thereafter, an increasing number of interior designers and architects recognized the value of streamlining their access through one single source. Our service allowed designers to focus on designing for their clients without having to maintain accounts with each individual manufacturer.
