Ralph Lauren Fabrics’ Half Moon Bay collection exudes a casual relaxed sensation with elevated modern touches. The showcase includes a diverse mix of paisleys, embroidered details, stripes, and light as the sky sheer fabrics. Color palettes range from washed and faded blues, earth tone reds, natural whites, and sandy neutrals to portray the Northern California coast and its bohemian spirit.
Ralph Lauren Fabrics is known for their nods to coastal, and nautical living. This collection is no exception, we’re going to be breaking down each print and pattern within this selection to provide ease in your design project.
Stepping Stone/Imari Paisley
This paisley design is digitally printed onto linen. The inspiration for this print was derived from the border of antique stationary. Their team transformed it into a large-scale allover pattern in gentle earth tones.
Pomponio Sheer is a 100% linen wide-width sheer. This fabric is perfect for pairing with any existing prints or patterns. It also stands out on its own for subtle understated luxury.
These faded stripes are amazing for pairing with the woven and printed patterns in the Half Moon Bay collection. Their design is inspired from antique dhurrie rugs giving them a full bohemian sensation. 100% Cotton and washable makes them a stylist, and sensible choice.
Venice Beach Madras is a relaxing check in in soft denim blues, completely cotton and washable. Similarly, the Wharf Toad Ticking in denim is another versatile cotton fabric. We love them paired together for a breezy coastal look that’s cozy but elevated.
The Haven Solids are a linen and viscose blend that is durable and reliable. The color palette is a direct representation of the shades you’d see through out the northern coast.
Sea Bird Sheer Stripe
Adding to the collection of sheers, the Sea Bird Stripe is a simple understated spaced stripe. The stripes are woven selvedge to selvedge on 100% linen.
Shell Beach Batik
Shell Beach Batik is a small scale floral design. The floral detailing mimics scalloped shells and the two rustic bohemian colorways truly capture the spirit of the Half Moon Bay collection. Digitally printed on linen, these fabrics are perfect for upholstery and curtains.
Turtle Cove Shell Sheer
This poly/linen blend fabric is the same pattern found within Stepping Stone Paisley. If you look closely it is textured like seashells.
Pillar Point Floral
Digitally printed on 100% linen, the Pillar Point floral is a wispy intricate floral. The name of the print is inspired by the actual Pillar Point located above the Half Moon Bay.
Frenchmans Creek Dhurrie is inspired by traditional cotton dhurrie stripes as it’s title implies. This bold modern rendition is refreshing. Gin Beach Ticking is inspired by two separate stripe designs, sun faded, combined into one.
Ashfield Bay Floral
Finishing off the Ralph Lauren Fabrics: Half Moon Bay collection with a quiet and soft floral. Ashfield Bay floral portrays elegant thorn bushes in a warm and cool undertone.

Our story begins in 1987 when founder and designer Frank Keshishian launched L.A. Design Concepts a residential interior design firm.
While Mr. Keshishian designed homes for his clients, he recognized a fast growing market of consumers who preferred to make their own design decisions. Understanding that desire, Frank created the first design service offering consumer access to designer "trade only" furnishings.
In 1988, L.A. Design Concepts was nationally recognized as a groundbreaking company revolutionizing consumer access. The Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles was very intrigued with L. A. Design Concepts working model and approached Frank in 1990 to formulate a consumer service program within their design center. L.A. Design Concepts was now the first service within a design center providing consumer access to “trade only? furnishings. Shortly thereafter, an increasing number of interior designers and architects recognized the value of streamlining their access through one single source. Our service allowed designers to focus on designing for their clients without having to maintain accounts with each individual manufacturer.
