Headquartered in London and represented in several countries worldwide, Designers Guild Fabric is headed by a brother and sister team, Tricia Guild and Simon Jeffreys. They released their first collection, Village, in 1975, and subsequent collections followed annually, including the Geranium, Poppy Vase, Bean and Daisy, and Watercolour collections. Over the years, the company earned the Queens Award for Export Achievement, the Export Award for Smaller Business, and the European Community Design Prize. Further expansion gave Designer Guild Fabric a more solid footing in the textile design and production industry, and today the company is also producing an exclusive range of furniture and home accessories.

 

Tricia Guild has earned several awards by top industry publications, including the Homes and Gardens lifetime achievement award. In 2010, Designers Guild received the Best British Brand Award from Elle Decoration UK, as well the Elle Decoration International Design Award for best fabric design in 2002 and the Elle Decoration Award for Best Wallpaper USA in 2003. And in 2008, Tricia Guild received the O.B.E. honor from the Queen for her worthwhile contributions to the interior design trade.
